Tea Party Invitation

| | |

We just got through one birthday party and now it is almost time for the next. My daughter is turning three at the end of the month so we are going to have a little tea party for her and her friends. My hubby and son agreed to be the waiters. It is going to be so cute. My son is already practicing by asking, “Tea, ma lady?” when he fills up my daughter’s plastic tea cup with water in the bath tub.
I used my Papertrey Ink Tea for Two set and a little CTMH Blush cardstock and patterned paper from the That’s Amore Paper Packet. The invitations are very simple, but I think they work. Now I just need to make the favors. I will post them when they are done if they turn out cute. *Ü* Below is inside of the invitation.

  • Heartfelt Hello Card

Close to my Heart’s Heartfelt Hello stamp is one of my favorites. It coordinates perfectly when the Thin Cuts—Basic Hearts dies, which just happen to be on sale this month. To make this card, I stamped the Heartfelt Hello image onto a piece of Kraft cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat…

I think my camera is fixed now. I changed some settings and it seemed to do the trick. Anyway, here are a few purse books that I made over the past couple weeks. The first one I saw was here on Jan’s Stamps, Paper, Scissors blog. She did a great job explaining how to make…

  • My Cased “enjoy” Card…

This card was inspired by Beate’s Weekend Sketch here and pretty much cased from Nancy Riley’s card here. (I love her work.) CTMH’s Notebook paper was a quick and easy solution for the background. I loved Nancy’s card but since I don’t own the SU! stamp that she used, I used a Creating Keepsakes foam…
