Delightful Wishes Light Up Card

| |

Here is another Light Up card that I created similar to the one I shared here. This one uses the beautiful Floral Delight DSP, Delightful Wishes Stamp & Die Bundle, Floral & Gingham Vellum, and Linked Together Dies.

This is what it looks like with the lights on. I used the Linked Together lattice die to create the opening and for the overlay. I attached a piece of blue gingham vellum behind the opening for the fairy lights to shine through.

After attaching the die cut flowers and leaves, I attached a piece of White cardstock to a Foam Adhesive Sheet and then die cut the entire thing with the “wishing” outline die. Then I attached a piece of Early Espresso cardstock to an Adhesive Sheet and then die cut the thin word. This made it easy to adhere the die cut to the outline piece. (Tip: be mindful of the tiny dots over the “i”s so you don’t lose them. 😉) I also added some Fine Tip Glue to the centers of the flowers to give them a little shine.

To make the notch on the bottom of the card for the light switch, I used the edge of one of the small flower dies. You can find instructions on how to make a light up card here.

Here’s the card “in action.”
