Today we are celebrating my dear friend Amy McGrew’s milestone of achieving
her 1,000th YouTube subscriber with a video collab. Because Amy has a bright and cheerful personality and loves bright colors the 9 papercrafters
who are participating are all creating a project with a bright and cheerful theme.
My project highlights the masking technique to create this cheerful floral
card. I walk you through the process step by step to create this card and then
show a couple other variations. Be sure to check out all of the other
YouTuber’s videos as well. You will find a link to each of their channels in
the description section at the bottom of my video.
Watch the video below to see the full process.
Here is a side view of the card so you can see the dimension a little better. You can even turn this type of card into a shaker card by adding some acetate and some confetti or sequins inside!
Here is a card I made using the die cut letters.
Of course I had to use the same technique to make a card for Amy.

One of the benefits of using CTMH’s clear stamps is that you can see through them while you are stamping. The Beautiful You stamp set contains some fun 3-step stamps that would be nearly impossible to use without the benefit of being able to see exactly where you are stamping. I used Bashful, Pixie and Raspberry inks…
