October Project: Whispering Woods Fun Folds & Mini Boxed Cards

This month’s project features a coordinating set of winter-themed paper crafts made with Stampin’ Up!’s Whispering Woods DSP and a few other crafting supplies.

You’ll learn how to create two standard A2 fun fold cards, plus a mini gift box measuring 3½” x 4½” that holds three coordinating mini cards and envelopes. From interactive card designs to a sweet little boxed gift set, these projects are perfect for sharing handmade holiday greetings!

Let’s take a closer look at this month’s Whispering Woods projects!

A Fun Shadow Box Card
First, you’ll learn how to create this eye-catching shadow box card with a layered design that creates the illusion of depth. When you open the card, the dimensional scene is revealed, making it a fun and unexpected twist on a traditional greeting card. And when you’re ready to mail it, the card folds flat to fit inside a standard envelope!

An Interactive Inside Slider Card
Next up is an inside slider card with a fun surprise! As you open the card, the inside panel slides up to reveal your message. It’s a creative twist on a traditional greeting card and a wonderful way to make your handmade cards extra special.

A Mini Boxed Card Set
Finally, you’ll learn how to make this adorable mini gift box measuring 3½” x 4½”. It holds three coordinating 3″ x 4″ mini cards and envelopes, complete with decorative envelope flaps.

This little set makes a lovely handmade gift and is a great way to use coordinating Designer Series Paper to create a polished, matching collection.
