Flower Child Layout

| |

This layout uses CTMH’s Boom-d-Ada paper packet along with a bunch of products from the new catalog that will be released next month. I had a lot of fun distressing the edges of the photos with the white paint that comes in the Distressing Kit.

These photos are so precious to me. My daughter is growing up so fast that I am trying to take as many pictures as I can. A lot of people told me that they have lots of photos and scrapbook pages of their first child but not as many of their other children. I am trying really hard to have lots of photos and pages of both kids. (It’s a good thing that we are not planning on having any more. LOL!)

All products CTMH unless otherwise noted: Stamps: Spot On Backgrounds Ink: Buttercup Patterned Paper: Boom-di-ada Other: Ric Rac, Distressing Kit, Just Blooms , Buttons, Brads, Bigger Brads, Ribbon, Dimensional Elements Simple Alphabet, 3-D Foam Squares, Mini Medley Accents, Expressive Fonts CD

Well, here it is…another super simple card. I wanted to showcase a few of CTMH’s distressing tools, so I created this card using the Solo G and Solo T stamps sets. I also used the sanding block to sand the blush textured cardstock, the edge distresser on the edges of the chocolate and white daisy…

This is a layout of my little one on her first birthday. I love CTMH’s More to Adore paper and was excited to pull it out for this project. I also used the August Stamp of the Month called Today’s Date and marked her birthday on the August stamp with a CTMH Sparkle. I plan…

Here is another cased card. Unfortunately I don’t know who designed the original. (It was one of you talented ladies whose blog I visit daily.) I went back through all of the blogs saved in my favorites and can’t seem to find it, so if it looks like your design, please let me know so…

  • A Different Kind of Tag

I received a “Blog Blessing” from both Kari and Kathi. (Two gals whom I appreciate so much even though we have never met.) The idea behind this tag game is different from other tag games. Rather than look inwardly, we look outside ourselves and bless, praise and pray for three blog friends. By participating in…

  1. Love this layout, especially the technique on the photos, was that simply painted on? It’s sooo true about the second child, my baby is starting school this Fall, where did the time go!!!

  2. Fantastic layout! Love all the details you include on your work. Subtle sometimes yet distinctive.

I hear you on the picture taking. Right now I’m an equal opportunity NON picture taker. My baby starts Kindergarten in a week! Oh my!

Wonderful and inspiring, I truly admire your work.

  3. Beautiful layout! I do not have any children but I take a ton of pictures of my nephew and niece so they will have lots of scrapbooks one day.
