Valentine’s Cards

| |

Here are a few Valentine’s Cards for your viewing pleasure. LOL!
The first one was inspired by a card that Kacey Elliott made with Papertrey Ink stamps. I loved it and knew I wanted to recreate it using CTMH products. I used the stamp set called Key to my Heart that comes in the National Papercrafting Month promotion kit. Click here for more info on that kit and click here for a chance to win one! I punched tiny holes in the hearts and the background and then strung some Colonial White Waxy Flax through them to make them look like they were hanging. I attached them with 3-D Foam Squares. The sentiment came from the February Word Puzzle stamp set. The background paper is from the That’s Amore paper packet.
This card was inspired by Kristina Werner. She uses this simple design on many of her cards and since I want to be just like her when I grow up, I do also. This card also uses the That’s Amore paper packet along with some Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon and stamps from the Soul Mates Word Puzzle and the February Word Puzzle sets. I also used some 3-D Foam Squares as I do on many of my projects. I sanded the white core cardstock with CTMH’s Sanding Kit and rounded the corners with a Corner Rounder.
This one might look familiar because I designed it a while back using the Silhouette paper packet and a few others as shown here. I recreated it again using the That’s Amore paper. I used the Rustic Alphabet stamps for the word “TRUE” and the February Word Puzzle for the word “love.”

This last one is another recreation of a card I did a long time ago. Here is one sample of an older version using the Floral Tapestry paper. It uses one of my favorite stamp sets of all time called Simple Stitches. If you like the look of sewing on your cards and layouts but don’t like to take the time to do it, this stamp set is the perfect solution. I also used a Big Pinks Paper Flower along with a stamped image (friend) from the September Word Puzzle covered with a Circle Window Charm as a little accent. The words “Forever & Always” come from the Friendship Word Puzzle. This card design is perfect to make with those little scraps that you hate to throw away.
