Today’s Studio J Class

| | |

Six gals joined me today for a super fun Studio J class! In fact, everyone had so much fun that I am thinking of making this a monthly event. Let me know if you would like to join us for the next one. Everyone learned the basics of how Studio J works and we all created the layout below. (Of course everyone else’s layouts didn’t have photos of my family on them. LOL!) Many of them changed the colors and designs to match their photos! They all turned out GREAT!

Most of the gals who attended the class already have a Studio J membership, but even those that don’t, walked away wanting to get one. They loved the idea of getting layouts for 1/2 price, free shipping, free JPEGS and access to all of the Members-only layouts and kits. Don’t forget that you can get a FREE JPEG file of your Studio J layout this month without a membership! Click here to check out Studio J for FREE!

Vanessa (in the photo with me below) was one who wasn’t into “digital scrapbooking” before today. It was funny to hear, “That is so cool!” and “Wow! I love this!” coming out of her mouth every five minutes! I am not one to say, “I told you so Vanessa, but…” LOL! By the end of the class she was not only very comfortable with Studio J, but she was comfy in her hard wood chair! *Ü*

(Hey, check out my new pink Convention shirt. Yep. I couldn’t wait until Convention to wear it. I had to break it in today.)

  • Boom-di-ada “Thanks” Card

I love this card because it shows so many ways that you can use Chipboard. I used CTMH’s Dimensional Elements Monograms with stamps, patterned paper, and other embellishments. It is a fairly simple card, but has a lot of fun elements on it.All products CTMH unless otherwise noted: Stamps: Spot On Backgrounds Ink: Buttercup, Barn…

  1. Lisa I have been thinking of doing something like this. How did you get people who aren't into digital scrapbooking to attend? Did everyone do the same layout?

I love traditional scrapbooking but I have to say I love the quick results I get with Studio J. It is great for catching up on some scrappin.
