Art Philosophy Butterfly Card and a Giveaway

| | |

I made this card for day 3 of the Clean and Simple Card class I am taking. Day 3 was all about inspiration. I was so inspired by Julie’s butterfly card sample, that I had to CAS it using Close to my Heart’s Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. (I love that “CAS” stands for Clean and Simple, but it also stands for Copy and Steal! LOL!) I cut two butterfly shapes out at 5″ and adhered them together at the top to make the card base. Then I cut out three butterfly layers from some White Daisy cardstock and adhered them together. I cut one last layer out of some textured yellow cardstock and adhered it on top. I love the 3-D look without having to use any 3-D Foam Tape.

The CTMH textured cardstock that I used is retired now, but I still love it. (By the way, I have a TON of it. If anyone would like some, let me know. I have WAY more than I will ever be able to use.) The sentiment is from a CTMH promotional double set that is no longer available called Pair-a-Phrase. Do you like it? Guess what? I have a new Pair-a-Phrase set to give away. To enter, fill out the form on the giveaway page here. I will pick a winner using random.org next Thursday, 1/19. Good luck!
