A “Happy” Mother’s Day Card

| | | |

I made this Mother’s Day card using two of Close to my Heart’s May promotions — the Dotty for You Paper packet and the May Stamp of the Month called Friendship Bouquet. I also used the Say it in Style stamp set along with a little Cocoa Ribbon and my Watercolor Pencils & Blending Pen. I popped one of the flowers up with some 3-D Foam Tape to give it some dimension.

For some reason yellow makes me happy. I hope my Mother-in-Law feels the same and will be happy when she receives this card. *Ü*

I hope all of my U.S. friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. I know I sure did! We had family here for the day and shared a wonderful meal (I am still in a food coma), played some fun games, and reflected on all of the blessings that we enjoy! I am truly thankful for…

  1. Love the card and the cheery colors. Believe it or not, I have ALL of the supplies needed to make it today (however, the day after Mother's Day). Ironically, my sister gave my mother a sunflower cake for Mother's Day yesterday. I will make it anyway and change the sentiment! Thanks for sharing!
