Make It From Your Heart “Family” Layout

| | | |

This family-themed layout is on page 23 of the new Make It From Your Heart Publication. I loved the photos that my friend sent me of her family and couldn’t wait to use them with this layout pattern. I used the new Pear & Partridge paper for the background and matted it on some Ruby cardstock.

The sentiments in the upper left corner and the lower right corner are both from the Family Love stamp set.

I cut some butterflies with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge from Cashmere cardstock and added some Opaques Mocha Adhesive Gems and Sparkle Flourishes as a “trail.” The edges of the butterflies are inked with a Ruby Marker.

The title is made with Dimensional Elements Monograms covered with Cashmere cardstock. I colored the edges of the chipboard letters with a Ruby marker and stamped some small flowers from the Remarkable Wreath stamp set. I also added some Bitty Sparkles to the center of one flower on each letter. I finished off the layout by adding some brown stitching around the edges with my sewing machine.

Stay tuned for another layout using the same pattern, with a twist, from the Make It From Your Heart publication…

    1. Thanks Karen. I think I have figured out all of your projects and they are all incredible, as is everything you do! Will you be sharing them on your blog? (I asked Kristine W. if it was ok for us to share and she encouraged it.) *Ü*

  1. Lisa, I think I have talked a friend of mine, Linda Kemp, into signing up for the great CTMH deal this month. She was a hobbyist consultant several years ago under me. She said if she did sign up, it would probably be under you. If I can find the $49.00 I hope to sign up also, too good a deal to pass up.

    1. Leslie, you are amazing. Thank you for all of the referrals! I think you should sign up and then have all of your friends sign up under you. *Ü*

It is a great deal and there are so many perks to being a CTMH Consultant! Feel free to email me if you have any questions or just want to chat about it a little more!

  2. Beautiful! I love everything about this layout! The colors and patterned paper, the butterfly with the swirly gems, the title looks beautiful with the little flowers and gems, the simplicity and elegance of it all! Don't give away everything in Make it From Your Heart or I won't need to buy it. 😉 Really though, thanks for sharing!!!!

  3. Thanks for your sweet comments Angie. Don't worry. I can't post all of the projects in the book because I only created a few of them. Plus, you will need to get the book so you can see the patterns. LOL! *Ü*
