La Belle Vie “Joy” Layout

| | |

I thought Close to my Heart’s La Belle Vie Collection would be perfect for these “vintage” photos of my kiddos. I used lots of fun new products on this layout including the La Belle Vie Papers and My Stickease, the new Black Tulle Ribbon, Opaques Pearl Flourishes, and Pearl Adhesive Gems.

I added a little stitching with my sewing machine and also did some hand stitching with the Piercing Tool Kit.

I used the new Artiste Cricut Collection to make the 3-D rolled flowers. I inked the edges with Chocolate ink before I rolled them to give them an aged look and then added some Pearl Gems in the center. The leaves were also cut using the Artise Cartridge.

I LOVE the My Stickease in this collection! I added some 3-D Foam Tape to the back of a few of them to make the clusters more dimensional. I also added some Pearl Gems to the butterfly’s body.

The banner title was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection. I cut the baners in two sizes and used some more Foam Tape for dimension. The letters are from the Small Chocolate Alphabet set.

The edges of the papers were distressed with CTMH’s Edge Distresser. I love this tool for making papers look older. (It sure beats using my Micro Tip Scissors which I used in the past. I almost always ended up cutting myself! LOL!)

Stay tuned for more La Belle Vie artwork coming soon…

  1. Love that layout!! You matched up embellishment and clustered them so perfectly. I gotta say I thought it was funny that you were scrapbooking "Vintage" pictures of your KIDS. That just didn't seem to fit 🙂 Love the pictures.
