Where is Lisa? (And a little tip!)

I am so sorry that I haven’t been posting much lately. I was sick for a few months (feeling MUCH better now) and as soon as I got back from the CTMH Convention, we had new carpet installed throughout the entire house. It is something that I have been wanting to do since we moved into our home 10 years ago, and we finally saved up enough to do it. (Thanks to CTMH for the extra income to help pay for it!!) I had no idea it would be such a HUGE undertaking. Anyone who has ever had new carpet installed can relate. We had to move almost everything out of our house. I now realize that we have waaaaay too much stuff. LOL! My craft room alone took 3 days to clear out. (I was just waiting for the peeps from “Hoarders” to show up at my door.) I see a big garage sale in our near future.

This is my daughter enjoying our new carpet by making “carpet angels.” (We don’t get a whole lot of snow in our neck of the woods, so this is how she compensates.)

I am happy to report that the new carpet is in and we are slowing bringing things back into the house. Unfortunately my craft room was one of the first rooms I boxed up which means that it is one of the last rooms to be put back together. (My hubby stacked most of my boxes on the bottom towards the back of the garage. lol) I have a lot of my necessities unpacked and put away, however, my box with my Cricut cartridges is still in the garage somewhere hiding under all of the other boxes. I was in desperate need of my Art Philosophy cartridge the other day and after spending an hour trying to find it in the sea of boxes still in the garage, I realized that because I had linked my cartridges to my Cricut Craft Room account, I didn’t need it. I was able to cut everything I needed by using Craft Room!! Yay Provocraft for saving me!!!!! So, my little tip for the day for all of you is to make sure you link all of your cartridges to your Cricut Craft Room account just in case… You will be happy you did!

Anyway, now that I am feeling better and the carpet installation is behind us, I have more time to photograph my projects and share them with you. I am also planning to finally share the fun gifts that I received and gave at Convention. I still need to photograph them, but at least I can find them now. *Ü*

I also have some fun projects to share with you using some of the new Base and Bling products that will be available on August 1st. I will post the first one later today. Thanks so much for your patience while I was MIA. It’s sooooo good to be back!

I wish I could take credit for this super cute piece of artwork. The CTMH Art Department actually created this using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. 1. Now it would have been really convenient to have all the carpeting installed while you were at Convention!

Hopefully your life will begin to settle and you can find your toys…er, supplies!
