Painted Lavender Thank You Card

| | |

This floral card was created using the Painted Lavender stamp set and coordinating dies. I started off by embossing a piece of 4¼” x 5½ Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to a card base.

Then I die cut another piece of White cardstock using one of the Deckled Rectangles dies. To create the soft look on the flowers, I used the 2nd generation stamping technique by adding Highland Heather and Boho Blue ink to the stamp with a Sponge Dauber and then stamping it off on a piece of scratch paper before stamping it onto the white die cut deckled rectangle. I then stamped the thinner floral stem in the center with Gorgeous Grape ink and then finally stamped the stem in Mossy Meadow. I die cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock with the coordinating leaves die. I cut the die cut leaves in half and adhered the pieces to the bottom of the flowers.

I added a Gorgeous Grape cardstock mat around the stamped rectangle before adhering it to the card base with some Dimensionals. I die cut a small banner shape using one of the Happy Little Things dies and then stamped the sentiment from the Encircled in Nature stamp set onto the banner in Gorgeous Grape and added it to the card with some Mini Dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added a small bow created from a piece of Linen Thread.
