Gallery Blooms Card

| | | | |

Today’s project features the stunning Gallery Blooms bundle from Stampin’ Up! This card was a joy to create and is perfect for bringing a little happiness to someone’s day.

I started off by embossing a piece of Basic White Thick cardstock with the Glass & Gardens embossing folder to create a soft floral background, which adds subtle texture and sophistication without overpowering the focal point. I adhered the embossed panel to a Strawberry Slush card base. I used the Gallery Bloom stamp set and coordinating dies to create the dimensional floral cluster, which was colored with Stampin’ Blends in shades of Strawberry Slush and Flirty Flamingo for a vibrant, cheerful look.

To make the sentiment pop, I stamped “Hoping your day blooms with happiness” from the Year of Flowers stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto a strip of white cardstock and adhered it to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I colored a piece of Granny Apple Green and a piece of White cardstock with a bit of Granny Apple Green Blends, die cut some small leaves from the cardstock, and slipped them behind the flowers. A few Holographic Resin Dots added the perfect finishing touch.

Project Tips:

  • Use Thick Basic White cardstock for the top layer to hold the embossed details well.
  • Layer your die-cut florals with a mix of adhesive and dimensionals for added depth.
  • Add a few small embellishments near the sentiment and floral cluster in a triangular shape to draw the eye and create balance!

Whether you’re crafting for a birthday, a thank you, or just a thinking of you moment, this floral design is sure to bring a smile to the recipient.

What do you think? Would you try this card in a different color combination? Maybe yellows or purples? 🌼
