Hearts of Elegance Card

| | | | |

I created this 4″ x 4″ card for my husband for our anniversary using the new Hearts of Elegance stamp & die bundle. I cut a heart out of the center of the card base and from a piece of 3¾” x 3¾” cardstock using one of the small heart dies. I stamped the sentiment on the smaller piece of cardstock in Memento Black ink and then tied a piece of Gold Twisted Thread around it on the left side. Then I adhered it to the front of the card with some Dimensionals making sure that the heart opening lined up.

To create the heart on the inside, I watercolored a piece of Watercolor Paper using a variety of red and pink inks with a Water Painter.

After the ink dried I die cut a heart using one of the small heart dies from the Hearts of Elegance stamp & die bundle. (I actually die cut a bunch of hearts to save to future projects.)

Then I stamped the XOXO in the center of the small heart in Memento Black ink and adhered it to the center of the inside of the card so that it lined up with the heart opening on the front.

To finish off the card, I added a few of the Adhesive Backed Heart Sequins on the outside and one on the inside.
