Waiting for his first ride

|

This is a layout I did a few years ago before I discovered clear stamps. Yikes, the title is just horrible! I used some old woodies I bought at Michaels and some craft paint. You know how you do a layout and then go back and look at it years later and think to yourself, “What was I thinking?” Well, that’s what I think about this title. I am so tempted to redo it. The twill was kind of fun to make though. I ran it through my printer and it actually worked.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately for me) my husband sold his motorcycle a couple years ago, so my son will never get to ride it. I am actually really glad. It made me soooo nervous!

I wish I could remember where I got this paper and the rest of the embellishments. Back then I didn’t keep track of where things came from.

  2. I always look back at my scrapbooks from when I first started scrapping[which was in 2000]. My style has changed alot since then but I would never ever re-do my scrapbooks. Its nice to see the change over the years…not only in how fast our kids grow up but how we design our pages. I love your blog and your artwork is fabulous!!!!!

  3. Like Sandra mentioned, I think it is great to see how far we’ve come in terms of our skills and tastes. At the time you did the best you could with the ideas and skills you had at the time.

    This is a great layout!!!
