3 Images Card – H2H Challenge

| | |

The Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week is to create a card using 3 images to create a “scene.” I actually have 2 sets of 3 images in my card. The first set is the clouds. The second set is the flowers. To make the clouds, I cut out a cloud shape with some cardstock and used it as a mask while I chalked around it with some Heavenly Blue chalk. You can even stamp the clouds from the T.L.C., Over the Rainbow, or True Happiness sets and cut them out to use as a mask. The flowers were made using our cute new Basic Assortment Buttons. I used the white flower buttons from the mix. After I punched some Sunny Yellow circles out with a hole punch, I adhered the circles inside the buttons with some Liquid Glass and added some extra Liquid Glass on top to make them shiny.

The flower stems were made using the
Fill in the Blank stamp set, like I did in my layout here. I used a Sweet Leaf marker to make the leaves. The grass is stamped in Sweet Leaf using the True Happiness set. Finally, I used the sweet sentiment from the April stamp of the month called Blessed. This set will be available to order on April 1st!

Pop on over the the H2H Challenge Blog to see what the other Design Team Members created. You will be blown away by their creativity! (My card is not worthy to be in the mix with theirs!) Then create a card with your own 3 image “scene” and link it to the H2H Blog. You may even win a prize at the end of the month from one of our generous sponsors! *Ü*

Have a great week!

ETA: OK, so I messed up on this week’s challenge. Even being on the Design Team, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the challenge. LOL! I thought we were supposed to create a card using 3 of the same images. I didn’t realize that we were supposed to use different images and that they were supposed to be stamped images. Oy vey! Sorry about that. I hope you enjoy my humble little card anyway. *Ü*

All supplies used are from CTMH unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Blessed, Fill in the Blank, True Happiness
Paper: White Daisy, Sunny Yellow Cardstock
Inks: Cocoa, Sweet Leaf
Other:
Basic Button Assortment, Liquid Glass, Hole Punch, Chalks

  1. Your flowers are *so* adorable! Love that they are actually buttons, and you added a bright yellow center. And using words for the stems is just so clever.

  2. Love this simple card Lisa, it's so very pretty. I was wondering how you did the flowers (obviously I must get some of those new buttons). Love Mary Gunn's comment…it does make me feel fabric softener fresh 🙂
