You’re the Best: 3D Embossed Sunflower Card 🌻

| | | | | |

Looking for a cheerful card that’s full of texture and warmth? This 3D Embossed Sunflower card might be just what you need! I created these vibrant cards using the stunning Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder from Stampin’ Up! I love how realistic those petals look!

How It Came Together:

  • I started by embossing Thick Basic White cardstock with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. The folder is generously sized, so I was able to create two standard A2 cards from one embossed piece.
  • Next, I brought the sunflowers to life using Stampin’ Blends in shades of yellow, green, brown, and soft blue. Blending directly over the raised design makes those beautiful petals pop with dimension and depth. Adding the Pool Party Blends in the background makes it looks like the flowers are set against a beautiful soft sky.
  • I die cut a stitched banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies and stamped it with a sentiment from the Tags of Thanks stamp set using Early Espresso ink.
  • To finish it off, I added a few Gold Brushed Butterflies, one of my all time favorite embellishments. They add just the right little sparkle.

This card is not only fun to make, it’s perfect for brightening someone’s day. Whether you’re sending a thank you, birthday wish, or just a little love, these sunflowers say it all.
