Surprising Color Combo for Gift Packaging

One of my favorite parts of attending Stampin’ Up! events is putting together little surprises for my roommates. I attended Stampin’ Up!’s BackStage (Leadership) event in Las Vegas last week and had a lot of fun putting together my roomie gifts. I packed everything up in bright pink gift bags and added personalized tags to make them feel even more special.

The funny thing is that this color combination is not one I ever would’ve chosen on my own. But the pajamas I gifted were so cute (and cozy) that they inspired both the colors and the floral design for the tags. Once I started creating, everything just clicked, and I ended up loving how the unexpected palette came together! Who would have ever thought to put Melon Mambo, Real Red, Crushed Curry, Basic Beige, and Basic Black together?

I hope these little tags bring you a bit of inspiration the next time you find a gift that sparks a creative idea. Sometimes the best color combos come from the most unexpected places!
