March Product of the Month – A Little Note of Thanks Card

| | | | |

I have another fun project to share using this month’s Product of the Month, the Notes of Spring stamp set. To create this card I used a variety of different dies to highlight the adorable deer and background scene stamped with images from the Notes of Spring stamp set.

I started by trimming off 1½” from the right side of the front panel of a standard A2 sized white card base. Then I stamped the pattern in Versamark ink onto a piece of 1½” Crumb Cake cardstock to give it a warm, earthy feel. I adhered that piece to the inside of the card which shows when the card is closed. I added some light ink blending with Early Espresso ink to the corners of the card to create soft edges. I blended some Cloud Cover and Crumb Cake ink and stamped the scene onto the oval cardstock using images from the Notes of Spring stamp set. See the video below to watch how I created the background scene.

The star of the card is that darling little deer which I stamped onto white cardstock and fussy cut with scissors to give it a unique look and a bit of added interest. Layering is key here! I used die-cut greenery and a decorative oval frame to build dimension around the focal point. The soft blue flowers and pearl accents finish it off with just the right touch of elegance.

The sentiment, “A little note of thanks,” tucks perfectly into the design and makes this card the perfect way to say “Thank You.”

Be sure to watch the video below where I show this card in detail and share even more ideas for using this fun stamp set. You’ll see just how many different looks you can create with it!
