Inside Slider Cards | Handmade Holiday Hop

| | | | | | | |

I have a fun collection of Christmas cards to share with you today! These are Inside Slider Cards, and I love the little surprise they reveal when you open the card. They look like a traditional greeting card at first glance, but there’s a fun interactive element tucked inside!

I created several different versions using a variety of colors, patterned papers, stamps and embellishments. I love how you can use the same basic card design and get completely different looks just by changing up the papers and embellishments.

The basic idea behind an Inside Slider Card is to create a pocket-style card with an insert that slides up when you open the card. The insert gives you extra room for a greeting or short handwritten message, making these cards both fun to make and fun to receive!

Handmade Holiday Hop on YouTube

I’m excited to be participating in a YouTube Handmade Holiday Hop with some fellow creative designers! We’re sharing holiday projects and inspiration to help get you ready for the Christmas crafting season.

In my video, I walk you through the process of making two of these Inside Slider Cards, including how to make both a vertical and horizontal version. If you’d like to make one yourself, be sure to watch the video for the step-by-step instructions!
