Tea Party Favors and Thank You Cards

| | | | |

My daughter’s Tea Party was a big hit on Saturday. If you would like to see some photos, feel free to visit my family blog here.
I posted the invitations a couple weeks ago and wanted to carry the theme throughout the favors and the thank you cards, so this is what I came up with. I used Lauren Meader’s Pretty Petal Pocket Template for the little purses and added some patterned paper from Close to my Heart’s That’s Amore paper packet. I also used a pink paper flower from CTMH’s Just Blooms Big Pinks Flowers with a self adhesive pearl inside. I also added a little pearl to the “clasp.” The names were printed using a font called Bickham Script. (It is one of my all time favorite fonts!)
Each little girl also got an adorable hat, play pearls, a feather boa, gloves, and a cute little tea pot cookie. (If you ever need to purchase any tea sets, fun dress up clothes, or these cute cookies, you must visit Karen Ebert’s online store called Catriona’s Castle. Her website is www.catrionascastle.com. She was great to work with and went out of her way to get us a sweet little top hat for the one little boy who came to the party! Thank you again Karen!)
Speaking of the little boy who attended, I couldn’t very well give him a little pink purse with pearls, gloves, and a boa, so I made this little “manly” bag for him to take home and filled it with a yo-yo, some candy, etc. I used some paper from the new Sweet Home paper packet. He also had an adorable black top hat that Karen sent me with my order. (Sorry the photo is so bad. It was, unfortunately, the only one I took of the bag.)
The thank you card used the same patterned paper as the invitation and the little purses, along with a new CTMH stamp set called Childhood Portrait. It was just perfect for this card. The border around the little girl is from another new set called Welcome Home. The tiny little sentiment is from Papertrey’s Mixed Messages set. I also used some of their Dark Chocolate Satin Ribbon. I punched out the main image, inked the edges with some Chocolate ink and adhered it to the card using some 3-D Foam Tape to give it a little dimension.I need to leave you with just one of the many photos that I took on Saturday. How cute are these guys?
Now that the party is over, I suppose I should start thinking about what to do next year. LOL!
