Brushed with Beauty Craft Class Projects

I had such a great time participating in the Brushed with Beauty Craft Class. The beautiful projects included two cards, a box, and a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page, all created with the Brushed with Beauty Suite Collection. This suite has artistic impasto floral designs and versatile sentiments, and was so fun to work with. Below are a few photos of the projects I made so you can see just how pretty they are.

The 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page we created has so much texture due to all of the flowers and leaves we added. We used Embossing Paste on the large white flowers to give them even more dimension. Because I plan to add a photo of my daughter to the layout after we take our family photos next week, I didn’t fully adhere the sentiment strips quite yet.

I love the technique we used on the card below. We die cut the leaves and then inserted them back into the opening in the cardstock. The added detail gives the card a unique look.

The technique on this card called for Embossing Paste and ink refills. Since I didn’t have any regular Embossing Paste on hand, I used the Shimmery White Embossing Paste instead which gave my card a tiny bit of sparkle.

The card box we created was one of my favorite projects. We used the Words of Beauty bundle and the Petals of Beauty bundle to create the gorgeous top of the box.
