Welcoming New Team Members with a Handmade Card and Fun Gift

| | | | | |

One of my favorite things about welcoming new team members to our Stampin’ Up! family is finding little ways to make them feel special right from the start. There’s just something extra meaningful about receiving a handmade card in the mail, don’t you think?

I created this sweet card to send to my newest team members this month as a little welcome and thank you for joining our creative community. Along with the card, I also sent a fun gift to help them get started with their crafting. I love finding little ways to make those first moments feel exciting and special!

For this card, I had so much fun playing with some beautiful new products. (I’ll share the full supply list at the bottom of this post!) I used the gorgeous new Flowering Meadow Bundle along with the stunning Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder to create lots of texture and soft detail.

I paired the beautiful new Barely Blush color with Gray Granite for a soft and elegant look that feels fresh and timeless.

To create the card design, I trimmed the right side of the card base 1″ shorter than usual and embossed the front panel with the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder for added texture. Then, I added a piece of Barely Blush cardstock behind the front panel on the inside, cut just 1/8″ longer than the front flap, so a delicate strip of color peeks out along the right edge.

For the focal point, I stamped the sentiment on a strip of Basic White Thick cardstock and layered in several die-cut images from the Flowering Meadow Bundle, tucking them underneath for dimension and softness. To finish it off, I added tiny Barely Blush flower die cuts with sparkling Rhinestone Jewels in the centers and a couple of sweet Barely Blush Butterfly Embellishments for the perfect finishing touch.

Creating cards like this is one of the many things I love about being part of Stampin’ Up! It gives me the opportunity to share creativity, build friendships, and celebrate special moments together.

And speaking of joining, my newest team members were able to take advantage of the amazing May Starter Kit special, and there’s still time through May 31 if you’ve been thinking about joining too! Whether you’re interested in simply enjoying the discount, gaining early access to products, creative inspiration, or joining a fun community, this is such a great time to do it. New demonstrators can choose from extra bonus options with their Starter Kit, making an already incredible value even better. Feel free to visit my New Demonstrator FAQ page for more info.

I would love to welcome you to my team and creative community! If you have questions or want to learn more, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to chat and help you decide if it’s a good fit for you. 💕
