Celebrating Success with a Handmade Card

One of my favorite parts of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is encouraging and celebrating the amazing members of my team. Twice each year, I recognize those who have participated in my Team Rewards Program with various gifts as a way of congratulating them for all they’ve accomplished. I always like to include a handmade card because, after all, a heartfelt card makes every gift just a little more special!

For my latest card to accompany my team gifts, I reached for the beautiful Botanical Glow Hot Foil Bundle paired with the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Bundle and coordinating masks. I love how the elegant gold foiling catches the light, while the soft Barely Blush and Basic White cardstock keep the design clean, fresh, and feminine.

This card was inspired by the talented Tina Bickford. I loved her beautiful design and had so much fun putting my own spin on it using these gorgeous products.

After hot foiling the botanical image and butterfly in gold, I used the coordinating masks to softly blend color onto the images, adding just enough depth without taking away from the shine of the foil. The sentiment, from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set, was die cut with one of the Sweet Words & Labels Dies, creating the perfect finishing touch for this simple yet elegant design.

I hope these cards bring a smile to my team members’ faces and let them know how much I appreciate them. They work hard, encourage one another, and make this creative journey so much fun.
