4 Creative Ways to Use the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Bundle | Stampin’ Up! Christmas Projects

I had so much fun playing with this new stamp and hot foil dies bundle and wanted to see just how many different ways I could use it. So today I’m sharing four completely different projects featuring the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Bundle.

I created a winter scene on a standard A2 card, experimented with hot foiling on a Window Sheet for a 5″ x 7″ window card, used the beautiful arch shape to create oversized gift tags, and finished with a cute little gift box filled with mini cards and coordinating envelopes.

🎄 Winter Wonderland Scene Card

For my first project, I created a standard A2-sized Christmas card featuring a beautiful winter scene filled with Christmas trees.

I combined stamped trees with foiled details to create a layered forest scene. I started with a piece of Whispering Woods DSP for the background. I foiled the tree garland with Copper Hot Foil on scrap cardstock and then used several shades of green from the DSP to stamp the trees. Hot foiling first makes it much easier to line up your stamped images.

I also added some snow along the ground by tearing some White Willow cardstock and adding a bit of Wink of Stella to the torn edges for a bit of sparkle. I hot foiled a few little stars in the sky to finish the wintery scene and added the hot foiled sentiment at the bottom to finish off the card.

I love how you can create a completely different look just by changing the colors of your trees and the foil you use. The Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Dies make it easy to add those extra little details that really make a handmade Christmas card shine.

✨ 5″ x 7″ Window Card

For my second project, I wanted to try something a little different. I created a 5″ x 7″ window card featuring hot foiling on a Window Sheet.

I absolutely love the way the foiled design looks on the transparent Window Sheet. It creates a beautiful, unexpected element on the front of the card.

The large arch shape creates a perfect frame for the Christmas tree, and when you open the card, you get another little surprise with the coordinating tree inside.

This was such a fun technique to experiment with, and I love how the Window Sheet allows the design to be seen from both sides.

🎁 Oversized Christmas Gift Tags

Next, I wanted to highlight one of my favorite elements of the Twinkling Tidings Hot Foil Dies, the beautiful arch-shaped die.

Instead of using the arch only as a frame on a card, I turned it into an oversized Christmas gift tag!

I added a small hole at the top and finished the tags with twine so they are ready to tie onto a Christmas package. I also love the option of adding the little “To: and From:” label or the solid “From Our Family to Yours” label.

These larger tags would be beautiful on a special Christmas gift, a basket, or even a wrapped package where you want the tag to be part of the presentation.

💌 Mini Cards & Gift Box

For my final project, I wanted to create a little handmade gift.

I made a cute box that holds a set of mini enclosure cards and coordinating envelopes. These little cards are perfect for adding to a gift, attaching to a package, or simply having on hand whenever you need a quick little note.

I created the cards in both green and pink, using the Twinkling Tidings Christmas tree as the focal point. Each card has a coordinating background with stamped and foiled details, along with a simple “fa la la la la” sentiment.

I also made coordinating envelopes to complete the set.

I think this would make such a fun little handmade gift for a friend, neighbor, teacher, hostess, or anyone who enjoys sending handwritten notes.

And because everything fits inside the coordinating box, it makes a cute little gift all by itself!
