H2H Challenge – Kissing

| | | |

No silly! Not
that kind of kissing. LOL! The Heart 2 Heart Challenge this week is to use the stamp kissing technique on a project. If you are unfamiliar with the kissing technique, be sure to check out Tresa Black’s video that is showcased on the H2H blog. She does a great job showing how to do this technique.

I used Valerie’s great instructions to create this little notecard box. The box, which I plan to keep on my desk, contains a bunch of flat notecards. I used the kissing technique on the flowers. I inked the A Posy stamp set with Heavenly Blue ink, the swirls from the
Adorable Backgrounds set in Crystal Blue and then kissed them together before stamping the image onto some Colonial White cardstock. It adds a fun pattern to the solid flower image. The box was made using a piece of Bamboo cardstock. I covered parts of it with patterned paper from the Miracle Paper Packet. The word “notes” was stamped with the new Bohemian Alphabet set onto some Colonial White cardstock, cut out and adhered with some 3-D Foam Tape. (I just can’t seem to create a project without that Foam Tape! LOL!)

Here’s the box without the cards inside. I lined the bottom with more patterned paper. I also added a strip of the awesome new Kraft Color Ready Borders to the top. I was so excited when I found out that they are self adhesive!

Here’s the kissed flower close up.

The cards were made with a Colonial White CS base, layered with the backside of one of the Miracle patterned papers, then a layer of Crystal Blue CS, and finally another layer of Colonial White CS. The cards are nice and thick with all of the layers. I stamped them each with one of the sayings from the Miracle Workshop on the Go set. Then I added (with of course more 3-D Foam Tape) the cut out flowers and leaves from the A Posy set. Each flower has a blue button in the middle threaded with some Waxy Flax.

I’d love to see what you create using the stamp kissing technique. Head on over to the H2H Challenge blog and check out what the other design team members have created. Then link your creation for a chance to win some great prizes from our wonderful sponsors, Shirley Ross and Sandra Strickler.

And then when you are done…go kiss someone you love! *Ü*

  2. Your kissed flower looked like it was printed on the paper. Your stamping is incredible. Also your cutting ability is unbelievable. This is a wonderful project.
