Convention Recap – Day 1

We are having a blast here in Dallas! Today was the first official day of the 2012 CTMH Convention! (Leadership Day was yesterday.) We started out the day with an amazing General Session where the new Idea Book was revealed and lots of great announcements were made about new products and new policies. The new Idea will go live on August 1st and let me just tell you, IT IS AWESOME!! I can’t share too much with you just yet, but I will give you a little sneaky peek at the cover of the Idea Book in the photo below. Some great announcements were made including no more Studio J Memberships! Woo-Hoo! Studio J is now free for everyone to use and the layouts are only $6.95! If you already have a Membership, don’t worry. They have a great transition special for you! More details to come!

I just can’t keep this one a secret any longer…Yes, we have a new Cricut cartridge called Artiste! I have had the honor of being able to play with it for the past month and let me tell you, if you loved the Art Philosophy Collection, you are going to REALLY love the Artiste Collection! Eddie Deen’s Ranch in downtown Dallas didn’t know what hit them tonight. All of the Directors were invited to the annual Director’s Dinner. This is one of the highlights of Convention!

We had a YUMMMMY finger lickin’ good dinner and loads of fun dancing the night away. Sadly, I am sitting here icing my leg as I type because I pulled a serious muscle doing the “Cotton-Eyed Joe.” Boy am I out of shape! LOL!

We got some great gifts including a Cricut Spatula and a beautiful, sparkly, Texas-sized bracelet. (Here we are sporting our new bling.)
