More Secret Sister Gifts

| | | | | | |

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I was honored to have TWO secret sisters on the CTMH cruise — Tina Sutton (a sweet, amazingly talented Presidential Director who loves to YOLO and snack on Peach Os candy) and Kristine Whidtfeldt (CTMH’s VP of Sales and Marketing who has more positive energy than anyone I know, LOVES Diet Coke more than life itself, and who is also as sweet as can be.)

Knowing these fun little tidbits about these great gals, you might understand a few of the gifts that I gave them…

On the first day, they each received a clipboard that I made using the new Chantilly papers, Dimensional Elements, and Textiles.

The second day I gave them each one of our new Kraft Containers. (I love these!) I altered them each very differently.
Here is what the unaltered containers look like.
Since Tina loves Peach-Os candy, I used the July stamp of the month called Sweet Life (available July 1st) to stamp the outside of her container. I embossed it with Cocoa embossing powder and colored in the images with CTMH’s alcohol markers in Sorbet, Autumn Terracotta, and Sweet Leaf. Then I filled the container with Peach-Os candies.

Since Kristine LOVES Diet Coke, I turned her container into a Diet Coke can by creating a Coke label and can top on my computer and then adhering it to the container along with some self adhesive Silver Shimmer Trim. I added a special message and a fun “nutrition facts” label as well. I filled her container with some yummy gummy Coke bottle candies.

Do you remember this Notebox project kit from last February? I created the same project for both gals using our new For Always paper.

I also gave them both some cute jammies, a necklace or key chain, a fun altered initial hook, and Tina got a pair of fun YOLO flip flops. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of those goodies.
Tina surprised me on the last night with an unexpected gift. Look at the super cute project she gave me using our new 6×6 canvas and Tommy Collection!

I forgot to post this adorable gift yesterday that my 3rd upline Sheri Rottler gave me. She decorated one of our new Large Paper Pouches with some fun papers/stamps from the Tommy Collection. It was filled with all kinds of yummy treats and a travel sized lotion. So fun!! Thanks Tina & Sherri!

  • Color Blocked Layout

This layout was inspired by Kim Jepperson from the CTMH Training Academy. I loved the way she sanded the white core cardstock and color blocked her layout. • Thinking of You Card

I made this card for a friend who recently lost her father-in-law. Sympathy cards are always hard for me to make. I want them to be simple, but comforting. I still have tons of cards that were sent to me when my father died 19 years ago and they still bring me comfort when I…

  1. Oh my gosh! The two containers were SO cute. You stamped those flowers so perfect. Can't imagine how hard that was on a round surface. And the coke can was way too cute! Great job!

    1. I'm glad you like the Stormy Seas project. Unfortunately it was a gift that was given to me so I did not make and don't have the files. Sorry about that. It looks pretty simple to make though. I think she just used a retired paper bag and cut the insert into a tag shape. Hope that helps a bit. *Ü*
