For Always Purse with Base and Bling Accents

| | | | |

Yesterday I posted a video on how to make Close to my Heart’s new Base and Bling Fabric Necklace. Today, I want to show you another way that you can use the fun Base and Bling Jewels and Accents.

I created this purse using CTMH’s Artiste Cricut Cartridge. I brought the purse image on page 41 of the Artiste booklet into Cricut Craftroom and made it as large as I could on a 12″ x 24″ mat. Then I cut the image twice (flipping it around the 2nd time) out of two pieces of patterned paper from the For Always Collection. I overlapped the base of the purse and adhered it with some Bonding Memories Glue. Then I scored and folded it as shown in the assembly booklet that is included with the Artiste Cartridge. (It is the perfect size to hold some matching handmade cards and envelopes.)

I embellished the purse with some Teal Base and Bling Jewels, part of the Necklace Base, a couple of the metal Base and Bling Word Accents, some Base and Bling Floral Accents, and the straight pins from the Black Mini Medley Accents.

As you can see, the Base and Bling line is not just for jewelry. It can be used on all of your papercrafting projects. I’d love to see what you make with the Base and Bling products. Feel free to post a link to your projects in the comments below. *Ü*
