Holidays from the Heart Blog Hop

| | | | | | | |

I am so excited to be participating in a fun Blog Hop highlighting products from Close to my Heart’s new Holiday Gift Guide. (I will be participating in another fun Blog Hop in a few days so be sure to check back then for more great Holiday Gift Guide ideas!)

If you arrived here from Diana Veenendaal’s blog, then you are on the right path. Welcome! I would love to share with you a “re-creation” of one of my fun projects from the past. I created this Note Box Set last year and thought it would be fun to use the same template to make a Christmas themed set. I used the new Sparkle and Shine papers along with the coordinating Dimensional Elements for this project. The colors in the Collection are Ruby, Juniper, and Slate.

I embellished the outside of a My Creations Card Box with a piece of Ruby Chevron ribbon and a few pieces from the Sparkle and Shine Dimensional Elements along with some Ruby and Juniper Cardstock and some papers from the Sparkle and Shine Collection

The inside holds (6) 3″ x 3″ scallop notecards, 3″ x 3″ white envelopes, and some of the tags from the Sparkle and Shine Dimensional Elements. I also slipped a small piece of patterned paper inside of an RSVP Pen and placed it inside the box.
I created an insert for the cards and pen on the inside of the box using another piece of patterned paper from the from Sparkle and Shine Collection.
The 3″ x 3″ scallop card bases were cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The new Magical Days stamp set and the stamp set that comes in the Sparkle and Shine Workshop on the Go Kit were perfect to embellish the mini cards.

With a little 3-D Foam Tape, the mini cards took on a whole new dimension.

Thanks for stopping by! Now head on over to Michelle Snyder’s blog to see her fun creation! Be sure to visit all of the blogs so you won’t miss any of the super fun and create ideas!
