January Project Kit – Budding Peony Boxed Card Kit

This month’s project kit is a boxed card kit using the new Budding Peony stamp set and Feels Like Home paper. You will create 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs) with mix and match sentiments and a box to store them. This month’s local class will be Tuesday, January 29th at 7pm. If you are not local, you may order kits to be shipped directly to you by selecting the shipping option below.*
This month’s Basic Kit is $35 and includes the following:
- Budding Peony stamp set
- Sugar Plum Shimmer Brush
- (1) Gold Bow Clip
- (6) 5½” x 4¼” White Cards and Envelopes
- Pre-cut and pre-scored cardstock and patterned paper
- Link to Design Space file for the box. (All Cricut images will be pre-cut for you in the kit, but you will also have a link to the file in case you’d like to make more in the future. You will need an Explore or Maker machine to access and use the DS file.)
- Step-by-step instruction guide
Add on extra kits with no stamp set for just $18 each.
Additional supplies needed:
Budding Peony Thin Cuts (Your kit will include pre-cut shapes if you do not order the Thin Cuts.) – $21Thin Cuts are now sold out.- Ink Pads: Intense Black ink – $10 (or Memento Black)
- Watercolor Pencils – $27 or Watercolor Paints – $13 (Samples use Watercolor Pencils.)
- Blocks: 5″ x 6″, 3″x3″, 1″ x 3½”
- Thin 3-D Foam Tape – $6.50
- Clear Shimmer Brush – $5.50
Kit includes the Budding Peony stamp set shown below. Images outlined in blue coordinate with the Thin Cuts metal dies that can be included in your kit for an extra cost.
Make 6 cards (2 each of 3 designs) and a matching box to store them. You may choose to color in the stamped images, leave them uncolored, or a combination of the two as shown in the samples.
Slip the box flap into the top of the Gold Bow Clip to hold box closed.

Use the Sugar Plum Shimmer Brush to and color and shimmer to the flowers and use the Clear Shimmer Brush to blend the green Watercolor Pencils on the leaves. (It’s hard to see in the photos but all of the sample cards are super glittery.)
