Bloom Where You’re Planted – December POM Scrapbook Layout

Today I’m sharing a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook layout that I created using the December Product of the Month – True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper. This beautiful paper collection was the perfect choice for documenting these cute photos of my daughter. (Even though she’s 19 years old now, I love that these photos remind me of her sweet innocence when she was little.)

For this layout, I started out by adding some light flecks of color to the white cardstock by tapping the Balmy Blue and Night of Navy Blends markers over the cardstock. I then layered two different designs from the True Blue Florals DSP onto the white background to create the foundation of the layout. I built a few clusters of leaves and blossoms around the photos to coordinate with the floral patterns from the DSP. I mixed die cuts, stamped images, and a few dimensional flowers to give the page depth and a touch of whimsy. See full supply list below.

The sentiment “bloom where you’re planted” from the Sweet Blooms bundle felt like the perfect title. It ties in beautifully with the gentle florals and the sweet personality of my daughter shining through in the photos.
