How to Make a Monogram Box using December POM and Party Alphabet Dies

| | | | | | | |

Today I’m sharing another fun project I created using the December Product of the Month: True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper. If you love packaging as much as I do, you’re going to really like this one.

Today’s project is a 3½” x 3½” gift box inspired by the adorable box featured on page 87 of the 2025–26 Annual Catalog. I have officially become addicted to making these boxes! They are quick to put together, super versatile, and perfect for gifts, party favors, or special little treats. You can see a few more samples I’ve created here.

For this box, I paired the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper with the Party Alphabet Dies to create a personalized monogram on the front. This paper is absolutely beautiful, and I love how easy it is to mix and match the patterns for different looks.

Here’s another version of the same box created with a different pattern from the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper. Just changing the paper gives it a whole new personality, which is one of my favorite things about this design.

Box measurements:
Bottom of Box:
Basic White Thick Cardstock: 7-7/16″ x 7-7/16″ scored it at ½” and 2″ on all sides.
Top of Box:
True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper: 6″ x 6″ scored at ¼” x 1¼” on all sides
Window Sheet: 3⅜” x 3⅜”

Video Tutorial:
Be sure to watch the video below where I walk you through how to assemble the box step-by-step and show you how I created the flower embellishment. I’ve also included a full supply list at the bottom of this post to make it easy for you to recreate this project.

I hope this project encourages you to create some fun gift boxes of your own. These little boxes are perfect year-round for any occasion! Happy Crafting! 🩷
