A Little Fall Treat for My Free Craft Day

I’ve been having so much fun getting ready for tomorrow’s Free Craft Day, and these little boxes are one of the things I’ve been working on! I wanted to have some fun door prizes to give away throughout the day, so I created these cute little treat boxes and filled each one with a few surprises. Because everyone deserves a little treat, right? 😊

Who says a Christmas product has to wait until Christmas? 😉 When I saw the Advent Treat Boxes in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog, I immediately loved them. They’re designed for the adorable Christmas project featured on the cover of the catalog (see photo below), but I thought they would also make the cutest little treat boxes for Fall! So, I gave them a little seasonal makeover and turned them into the door prize boxes for my Free Craft Day tomorrow.

From Christmas to Fall 🍂

I started by stamping the kraft boxes with the flowers from the Radiant Sunflower stamp set using Pecan Pie ink. The tone-on-tone stamping adds just enough detail to give the plain kraft boxes a pretty fall look.

Once the boxes were filled with treats and a fun door prize scroll tied with some Pecan Pie Jute, I wrapped a strip of Glow of Harvest Designer Series Paper around each box.

And here’s a little bonus if you haven’t picked up Glow of Harvest DSP yet. It was the August Product of the Month, and there are still some available! For the finishing touch, I stamped the border from the Advent Labels stamp set in Pecan Pie ink, then stamped the sentiment from the Box of Joy stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I punched the labels out with the coordinating Advent Labels Punch and popped them onto the boxes with Dimensionals. I love how a few simple changes can take a product designed for Christmas and give it a completely different look!

These aren’t just pretty little boxes. They’re door prizes! I’ll be drawing ticket numbers throughout my Free Craft Day tomorrow, and everyone whose number is called will get to take home one of these little treat boxes and claim the prize inside.
