Base & Bling Memo Board

| | | | |

I wanted to share another project that I created using Close to my Heart’s new Base & Bling Collection. You may think that the products in this line can only be used to make jewelry, but think again. I found another fun use them.

I found a great picture frame at Hobby Lobby and took the glass out of the three photo sections. Then I added a piece of cork, a white board, and a magnetic sheet to each of the open sections.

I created some fun flowers using the new Sparkle & Shine Textiles and some new Ruby Chevron Ribbon. I added some bling to the flower centers using the new Black and Teal Jewels.

I created some pushpins and magnets to use on the board using some of the larger Jewels and some of the new beautiful Floral Accents. I simply adhered a magnet or flat pin to the back of each flower. The floral magnets and pins not only help me keep my notes and photos attached to the board, but they also serve as a pretty accent. I also have a dry erase marker that I use on the middle section.

To finish off the board, I added a large piece of Ruby Chevron Ribbon to the back so I can hang it on my wall.
I hope this gives you some more ideas on how to use our fun new Base & Bling line for projects other than jewelry. What are you going to make first with your new Base & Bling goodies?

I just got my Out on a Limb set from Papertrey and LOVE it! I whipped out a couple of super fast cards. Here is one of them.
